Katie Malinski
LCSW

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website.

I was born in Florida, raised in Louisiana, and first came to Austin for graduate school. Like so many others who come here temporarily, I decided to stay - Austin is great! I am proud to hold a Masters' Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I'd like to tell you a little bit about my approach as well as my experience. I hope that this information helps you to make an informed decision in choosing a therapist. If you have questions or would like further information, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

My Approach

My coaching and therapy is marked by gentleness. I am committed to following my clients' lead - I've seen it work, time and time again. I have years of training and experience with proven therapeutic models, so I know how to help you find the pathways that will work for your family. And quite simply, I love my work. It is an honor to be allowed into the private spaces of a family's life, and a great joy to see positive change. I love the unique challenge that each person presents, and I feel energized and excited every time a family tells me that things are getting better as a result of the work we're doing together.

My work is best suited to families who:
